Located in the ground floor of 2406 Frankford Avenue the design of EMiLIA continues the use of a simple material palette.  The language here harmoniously mixes raw textures with more refined materials.  Exposed concrete masonry units contrast with rift cut white oak panels. Slot mirrors expand the space while keeping the feeling intimate.  The layout is organized in different zones to maintain the desired amount of seating while creating a procession through space, revealing a series of experiences.  Multiple levels of lighting create an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming.  The intent was to have a space where one can walk in and relax without noticing the design which comes to you slowly as you dine.
