Located in the Callowhill neighborhood of Philadelphia, 1201 Wood Street is a corner property with three street frontages all clad in tan brick, the secondary facades have a slight brick relief pattern, while the facade on 12th Street has much greater depth.  The primary facade was conceived as an impression, where the gridded reveal tapers at the edges, going from flush with the field brick to a depth of four inches. Shadows across the facade subtlety reveal the depth and taper as the sun moves across the sky.  Window frames here match the brick color giving the facade a monochromatic, modern feel blending with the more traditional loft-like features.
